種子島出身の学生コミュニティ
学生団体のらねこは2021年に発足した学生団体です。
島の外から社会課題の解決を目指す大学生などが所属しています。
幾つになっても、学舎はふるさと
鹿児島県の大隅諸島に属する種子島は、人口27,000人ほどの離島です。
島には高校が2校ありますが卒業後多くの若者が島を離れます。
私たちは島を離れた後も、島外から関わり続ける方法を考え実践しています。
Student community from Tanegashima
“Noraneko” is a student organization that was established in 2021. It consists of university students and others who aim to solve social issues from outside the island.
Our alma mater remains our spiritual home, regardless of age
Tanegashima is an isolated island in the Ōsumi Islands of Kagoshima Prefecture, with a population of approximately 27,000. Although the island has two high schools, many young people leave after graduation. We are considering and implementing ways to remain involved with the island from the outside even after having moved away.
Network Functionality
We have formed a network of 50 members, primarily consisting of university students from Tanegashima.
Project Functions
We are launching projects aimed at solving social issues based on the students’ fields of study.
Study Features
We actively conduct research related to Tanegashima at our respective universities and share the results.
